Spring break means the opportunity for a READ-CATION (I’m going to make this a thing, I swear!) What new releases are you enjoying or looking forward to?

From writer, editor, and publisher Kristen Wixted (who can't get into her account to comment for some reason!):
KRISTEN: My picture book MISS RITA, MYSTERY READER is launching May 3! I co-wrote it with my nephew Sam Donovan and it's about a non-binary kid, Tori, with a drag queen dad getting ready for storytime at Tori's school. Sam and I joined a 2022 debut group called @PB22Peekaboo which has been so cool, seeing all these other new releases! We just got our author copies of Miss Rita the other day and it's wonderful to finally hold the real book. *LOVE the READ-CATION thing!*
Excited to read Lisa Lewis's book THE SLEEP-DEPRIVED TEEN. New books I've loved: AS SHE APPEARS by Shelley Wong and REFUSENIK by Lynn Melnick. Looking for new novels to read!
Two notable spring releases I've already had a chance to read: Sara Lippmann's latest story collection (JERKS, from Mason Jar Press) and Erica Lyons's debut picture book (ALONE TOGETHER ON DAN STREET, illustrated by Jen Jamieson, from Apples & Honey Press). Looking forward to many, including Rachel Barenbaum's new novel ATOMIC ANNA (Grand Central).
