I am very excited for Naseem Jamnia's THE BRUISING OF QILWA which is out now (and which you all will get to hear even more about in the next BMN feature!)

Also all the awesome cookbooks/food writing releasing this fall!! KOSHERSOUL by Michael Twitty, SMITTEN KITCHEN KEEPERS by Deb Perlman, and THE WOKS OF LIFE COOKBOOK by the Leung Family are ones already on my list. Any others I should be keeping my eye on?

Hi, I'll go with my own August release as my favorite: MURDER UNDER ANOTHER SUN by Colin Alexander. For a September release, I really enjoyed NONA THE NINTH by Tamsyn Muir.

I'm loving HOT AND UNBOTHERED: How to Think About, Talk About, and Have the Sex You Really Want by Yana Tallon-Hicks, a queer, poly, feminist sex educator/therapist who is hilarious and empowering when writing about sex. Seriously, I stayed up late reading this book and had so much fun doing so!
